Elizabeth Mannette is a seasoned strategist, Harvard-educated tax attorney, and former Google principal whose career spans over 30 years across Wall Street, energy diplomacy, infrastructure finance, and high-impact tax planning.
A graduate of Harvard Law School and NYU’s LL.M. in Taxation, Elizabeth began her career as a tax attorney with the New York law firm of Weil, Gotshal and Manges, where she structured complex M&A deals and financial transactions for Fortune 500 companies. Her trajectory evolved into global leadership, advising governments and multinational energy firms across Africa, Asia, and Latin America negotiating billion-dollar energy and infrastructure investments.
At Google, Elizabeth helped shape the company’s digital infrastructure, bringing her expertise in regulation, energy negotiation, and global capital investment to data centers and infrastructure initiatives powering the internet.
These diverse experiences led to one clear insight: taxes are one of the biggest capital expenditures in both industry and life. Effective tax planning can radically shift outcomes.
In response, she founded Tax Goals, a boutique firm to provide customized tax strategies using technology solutions to help clients preserve more of their income and invest in what matters most: building wealth, legacy, and impact.
Tax Goals acquired David Beck Tax where Elizabeth leads a team of CPAs, accountants and advisors working with high income earners, business owners and professionals in compliance, tax planning and tax resolution.

Our Founder is David Beck, a certified public accountant with a master’s degree in accountancy, as well as two bachelors degrees in accounting and political science. He has multiple years of experience working with the nation’s largest public accounting firms. David’s career has been spent assisting individuals, families, and businesses with their various income tax needs, including complete tax compliance and advisory services.
David spearheaded the movement to modernize the field of tax accountancy. Zoom meetings with clients, screen sharing, electronic workpapers, secure firm portals, electronic filing, and direct deposit/debit were his standard practice for 7 years. The need to leave the comfort of your own home has been eliminated.
David now works full time as CFO with a former client of the firm, Hintz Capital Management.
